@C3P0meetsData I don't disagree that it's a survival insinct, makes perfect sense; but at 1:24 it looks like a kiss on the hand. It could be the otter was merely using its mouth to adjust the hand so it wouldn't slip away again, but it does look like a kiss:-)

Well, they don't hold hands because they're "in love" its a survival instinct to keep groups from floating apart while resting or sleeping. If there were another otter, they'd be holding hands with that one too.
